We’re Jarrod and Sarah, owners of Cold Water K9 in Saint Johns, FL. Recently relocating from northern Ohio, we are excited to serve Saint Johns and Duval counties.

As parents of two young children, we understand the importance of having a well-mannered dog that fits seamlessly into family life. With over eight years of training experience, we’re passionate about helping dogs and their owners thrive.

For us, training dogs isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life. We love seeing dogs transform into obedient companions and helping owners become confident, capable handlers.

Meet our Head Trainer, Jarrod Williams

Jarrod trained at the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers in Santa Rosa, California, and gained hands-on experience apprenticing with successful trainers. He specializes in helping clients address obedience and behavior issues, creating smoother, happier households with their dogs. A lifelong dog lover, Jarrod is passionate about helping clients strengthen their bond with their pets.

In addition to working with pet dogs, Jarrod enjoys training working dogs. He trains his Labrador Retriever, Cowboy, for HRC Hunt Tests, earning their HRC Started Title. Jarrod is also a member of the Buckeye Retriever Club and the American Protection & Patrol Dog Association (APPDA).

Meet our Trainer, Sarah Williams

Sarah earned her degree from BGSU and a master’s from Ohio University and previously worked in operations for animal welfare organizations. However, her true passion lies in hands-on work with animals.

With over eight years of experience training dogs alongside Jarrod, Sarah is dedicated to improving the lives of dogs through training and care. She enjoys helping with training and ensuring every dog feels at home during their stay.

Sarah also competes in Rally Obedience, earning Novice and Intermediate titles with her dogs. Together, Sarah and Jarrod love testing their skills by competing in various dog sports.
